This Privacy Policy explains what information Jaxon collects, how it is used, and how it is protected. Jaxon is a private, personal reminder service operated by Kevin Jones. It sends appointment and medication-preparation reminders by SMS text message to the account owner and to a small number of individuals who have personally consented to receive them. Jaxon is not a marketing service and sends no promotional or advertising messages.

Information we collect

We collect only what is needed to deliver reminders: the mobile phone number(s) of the person(s) who have opted in to receive messages, the record of that opt-in consent, and the content of the reminders themselves (for example, appointment times and preparation steps). We do not collect data from anyone who has not personally consented to receive messages.

How we use your information

Mobile phone numbers and consent records are used for one purpose only: to send the appointment and medication reminders that the recipient has agreed to receive, and to process replies such as STOP and HELP. We do not use this information for any advertising, marketing, or promotional purpose.

We do not share, sell, rent, or otherwise provide your mobile phone number or your messaging consent information to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is used solely to operate this reminder service.

Service providers

Reminders are delivered through Twilio, a messaging infrastructure provider, acting only to transmit the messages on our behalf. Any such provider may access phone numbers and message content strictly to deliver messages, and is not permitted to use that information for its own marketing or to share it for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile opt-in data is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing.

Message frequency, rates, and opt-out

Message frequency varies and depends on the recipient's scheduled appointments; around an appointment there may be several messages in a day, and on other days there may be none. Message and data rates may apply. You can cancel at any time by replying STOP, after which no further messages will be sent. Reply HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Data retention and security

We retain phone numbers, consent records, and reminder history only as long as needed to operate the service, and delete them on request or when a recipient opts out. Access is limited to the operator.
